Job Description

A collaborative research centre on developing advanced biomedical instrumentation is recruiting a position of Research Assistant. The research centre is collaborative effort coordinated by the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to be established at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) undertaking R&D projects. The aim of the collaborative centre is to develop completely new and disruptive biomedical instrumentation that will meet the growing needs in medicine and contribute sustainably to human health.

Job Requirement

The job duties include establishing the spectroscopic measurement system for diagnostic calibration and a wide range of calibration on low-cost diagnostic devices.

Candidates should possess a bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering or related engineering disciplines. Holder of a Master degree is a plus. Preferably with research experience in biomedical, particularly diagnostics-related projects. Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communication is required.
